You can configure it by following this path from your Sesame account:

Configuration >> Devices >> Tablet >> Add device.

Turn your employees’ tablet into a fixed clock in/out point by downloading our Sesame Wall app. You can add as many devices as you need and enable different methods to record clock ins/outs.

1. Select Tablet as the type of device you want to link.
2. Choose the office/workplace where the tablet will be installed.
3. Give the device a name and click Continue.
4. Download the Sesame Wall app on the tablet.
5. Link Sesame Wall by entering the code that appears on the screen.

Once linked, you’ll be able to configure and enable different clock in/out methods:

Employees can clock in/out using facial recognition on Sesame Wall if you’ve previously activated this option from your Sesame account.

Follow this path to activate it:
Configuration >> Devices >> Tablet >> Identification methods >> Enable the "Facial recognition" option.

Clock in/out with NFC tags

 

Employees can also clock in/out on Sesame Wall with an NFC card, as long as you’ve enabled this option in your Sesame account.

To do so, follow this path:
Configuration >> Devices >> Tablet >> Identification methods >> Enable the "Use NFC tags" option.

 

Note: you need a tablet with NFC technology; otherwise, this method will not be available.

For employees to use NFC clock in/out, you’ll first need to link their NFC cards to Sesame Wall. Here’s the step-by-step:

• How to link employees’ NFC cards in Sesame Wall?

Step 1: find the two codes in your Sesame profile. Path: Profile >> Access >> Tablet access.

Step 2: open Sesame Wall and enter the two codes.

Step 3: click the button at the top left, Link NFC.

Step 4: select the employee whose card you want to link.

Step 5: locate the NFC detection point on your tablet (usually on the back).

Step 6: hold the NFC card close until the tablet detects it. The app will confirm with a signal (like a sound or vibration).

Once you’ve linked all your employees’ NFC cards to Sesame Wall, this is how it will look when they want to clock in/out using the NFC card.

They just need to select clock in/out with NFC and hold their card close to the tablet to record their workday.
