Currently, it's not possible to block time off by specific hours (for instance, from 10:00 to 14:00). What you can do is configure date ranges during which employees can't request certain types of time off (absences or leaves from work).
For example, when creating an absence type, you can define exact dates when employees won’t be allowed to request it. This is especially useful during peak workload periods, when reducing staff availability could be inconvenient.
Similarly, Sesame also allows you to block holiday requests, either for the entire year or only for specific periods you define.
How can I block date ranges when creating time off (absence or leave from work)?
You can block date ranges when creating time off. To do so, follow this path: Configuration >> Calendars >> Time off >> Create >> Absence/Leave from work.
Complete all the configuration fields for the time off. In the final section, enable the option "Block time off requests according to ranges" and select the dates during which the time off cannot be requested.
