Can clock in/out devices be restricted?
Yes, you can restrict as many devices as you need. Below, we explain how to do it, either for a specific employee or for the entire company.
1. Limit clock in/out devices for a specific employee:
- Go to the "Employees" section.
- You'll see a table with all employees in the company, divided into categories such as Status, Schedule, etc. Find the Clock in/out devices column (right after Company email). You may need to scroll to the right to see it.
- Unselect the devices you don’t want the employee to use for clocking in/out.
Tip: use the filters in the top right to quickly find employees (by workplace, department, role, etc).
2. Limit clock in/out devices for the entire company:
- Go to Configuration.
- At the top right, select the Devices tab.
- In the Information section, find the devices you want to restrict in the list.
- Toggle off the switch for any device you don't want employees to use for clocking in/out.
