What happens if I edit the paid clock in/out type associated with a categorization rule?
As clock in/out types are managed separately, you must know how the changes you make affect the associated categorization rule:

If you edit the clock in/out type (name, colour, icon...), the change will only take effect from that point on. In other words, past balances will not be recalculated, and what had already been calculated is not modified.

If you disable the clock in/out type, you will not be able to use the associated rule or assign it to employees. Balances already generated will remain untouched.

If you re-enable the clock in/out type, the rule recovers its operability, and you can assign it to employees again.

If you delete the clock in/out type, the effect is the same as disabling it, but permanently: that type will no longer be available for creating or assigning categorization rules.
In all cases, changes to a clock in/out type are never retroactive: they do not recalculate or modify categorized balances already generated before the change.
