Can I set a maximum limit on positive or negative overtime?

Yes, you can set maximum caps for both types of overtime. This option is configured in step 3 ("Overtime") of the policy creation process.

Configuring limits and automatic actions

  • You can set overtime limits per day, week, or month.
  • You decide what happens when the employee reaches the configured cap:
    • Close the clock in automatically.
    • Send the overtime to validation.
    • Add or deduct the remaining time directly from the pay balance.

When compensating an employee’s balance, the system will display a progress bar comparing the hours consumed in the year against the set limit, letting you check each person’s status at a glance.
