What should you keep in mind for offline clock in/out in Wall 3.0?

If the tablet loses its internet connection, the system will continue registering all employee clock ins, clock outs, clock in/out types, and breaks, but these records will not appear immediately. The data will be stored locally and automatically uploaded once the connection is restored.

Because of this, keep the following considerations in mind:

  • When offline, the system will store: clock ins, clock outs, breaks, clock in/out types, and any automations related to time tracking.
  • It is important to upload the employee’s avatar photo beforehand.
    • If the photo is uploaded correctly while the device has an active connection, it will remain visible even without internet access.
    • Keep in mind that if the photo was not successfully uploaded while online, it will not display properly when the device is offline.
