How do I set up clock in/out types on biometric devices?

If you want to create clock in/out types on biometric devices so your employees can indicate which activity they’re working on, the process is very similar to creating breaks.

Once Suprema is integrated with Sesame, go to: Configuration ⚙️ >> Event configuration >> Clock in/out types.

Can employees select clock in/out types when clocking in/out on the biometric device?

Yes. But first, you need to link all the clock in/out types you want to appear on the device.

Once this step is completed, when an employee clocks in/out, they will need to:

  1. Select the button configured as Clock in/out type.
  2. Choose the corresponding type (for example: client visit, training, project).
  3. Clock in/out using their fingerprint, card, or facial recognition.

This way, every clock in/out will be correctly categorized directly from the device.
