What is the difference between a time off, pay, and hybrid policy?
The policy type defines how the overtime generated by your team is compensated and determines the options you will see when managing balances from "Compensation":
- Time off. Overtime is always converted into hours or days off.
- Pay. Overtime is paid out (or deducted) via payroll.
-
Hybrid. Allows you to combine both methods, either by distributing overtime according to the percentages you configure or by deciding on a case-by-case basis.
If you choose a time-off policy, the system will never offer you the option to send that time to pay (and vice versa).
