What should I keep in mind when configuring the flash so my team can clock in/out with facial recognition correctly?

When setting up the flash, there are several considerations to ensure its use is effective and that no issues occur when clocking in/out through facial recognition.

  • The activation switch is available in the Configuration section.

  • Once this switch is activated or deactivated, it will remain in that state until it is changed again.

  • It can also be activated or deactivated from the facial recognition screen, in the top right corner. For example, if an employee needs it at the moment of clocking in (that is, if it’s not active, it won’t appear by default, but if the employee sees that they need it, they can activate it on the spot to take the photo).

By default, the flash feature is deactivated, and it is recommended to enable it only in environments with very low light to improve facial recognition accuracy.

If the flash icon (the lightning bolt) appears crossed out, it means the feature is deactivated; when the icon is not crossed out, the feature is active.
